I just switched my setup from CFL's to a 400watt hps. Depending on the size of the plant they are between 12-18" away from the light. I just noticed yesterday that the very end of the leaves are changing color and curling downward (very tiny part fo the end of leaf). Could this be heat stress? My temps have been higher than usu with the addition of the hps. Possibly nute burn? Or should I just move my light father away from the plants?

I would get that your plants are just not used to the different light yet. Im sure it will be okay once they get used to it.

Thats what im hoping. I was about a month into flower using CFL's but I wasnt using enough, only had 8 23 watters on 5 plants. Im really hoping I will get some good results/benefits from switching to hps. Anyone ever switch lighting system that late into flowering?
