so i would like to mother a SC plant and i guess my question would be how much light power is needed to mother a plant would flourecent lights works to mother a plant and how many watts ? and also how long does it take to get a full mother plant ready to cut sum shoots off ?

a flourecent is fine for a mother, you dont want to "promote" growing. You should be able to keep yr mother for a long long time. only enough nutes to keep her healthy is all you want to give her.

from what i gather, depending on how much you take from a mother, the stress of cloning can lead to overall weakness in the genetics. me thinks it best to start a new mother every so often. keep it growing vigorously so you don't fuck up its immune system. you may want to flower the girl later. i think cfl's would be perfect as long as you hit her from a couple different angles.
