Default How important is the fan in the grow room?

Hello to all looking in just after some advice please,

I have a good grow tent with just one fan which is connected to the carbon filter which is pulling air also out through the carbon filter. I have opened lower vents on the tent and it all works well and sucking fresh in a one movement system air simple but effective.

I always seen and read that you should have a small fan blowing air around the plants like the wind i've read its good for the plants.

I have got a small 6 inch desk fan but if i put it in then it will sort of fight against the carbon filter fan and may then kind of blow the smell out rather than the carbon filter fan getting it out first, hope this makes sense.

Basically summing up can i just leave it as it is? or do i really need to put this circulation air fan to blow air around the plants.....any help on this one appreciated really don't know wot to do here worried about smell etc at the moment it's perfect.

air circulation is crucial for strong stem development and prevent mold, PM and other contaminates from sitting and chilling in your area.

stagnant air is never good

I was hoping some of the big guns would put in an opinion let me ask in a way so you can just say yes thats ok, or no it's not i may get more replies

My second bedroom i use is 15 foot by 8 foot.......''

I have two windows open for ventalation so these are are 3 foot by 1 foot x2

just letting natural air movement for in and out on the windows, no ducting linked up to them etc.

I am using carbon filters with my fans to pull the smell out of my two flowering rooms i have in this bedroom. This is all i have as I do not have a circulation fan in the tents to move air around and pretty much am relying on the carbon filter fan to draw smell and also pull in fresh air via vents on the bottom of the tent seems like a nice simple system which i like.

I've opted to have what i would call a circualtion fan moving air around the whole bedroom to help it on it's way out of the windows.

Is this better or should i have the circualtion fans in the tents????????

Please note: the carbon filter fans are on 24 hours a day in the tents pulling smell and air out so should this be enough to stop bud rot or other problems??????

My placing of a fan in the whole room to keep air flowing and forcing it to go out the window is maybe better?

If i am wrong about this i will get bud rot so can i have a good reply please

well, if you put the 6 in fan above the carbon fan, and have it push air, in the same direction as the carbon filter is pulling it from (if that makes sense to you) this should give you air flow, but also not effect the air not getting to the carbon fan as much.

Hope that helps.

just put your fan on the opposed side of your exhaust fan. you want the fan blowing on your ladies.

My carbon filter fans are directly on the top of the tent and is vertical facing down sucking air straight up into the ceiling area.

So just worried by putting a fan in there will off-set the effectiveness of the carbon filter doing it's important job as putting a curculation fan in there may push the smell out the bottom of the vents of the tent.

That said every reply is towards pulling a cuclation fan in the tent so it's looks like i will work towards this.....''
