so a while ago i was reading that throwin the seeds in the freezer would preserv them for a later use is this true because ive had my seeds in my freezer for a while and im gettin ready to take them out to grow them plz tell me i didnt fuk up my seeds and if i didnt what should i do after i take them out let them thaw?>?? well i never really germed my seeds cuz i juss barly threw my plants into flowering and i wouldnt have enought light for 5 plants i barly have enough for this one and i would like to get an ELITE response on this one so i can know for sure if juss wasted my money by throwing them into a freezer

lol I am not an elite, but I can tell you from experience that the freezer is a bad place for seeds, it destroys there germ potential substantially, but as someone else pointed out whats the harm, as for the future- i wont ever freeze again, but let us know how it works should u decide to attempt

How do you recommend storing Cannabis seeds?

To prevent the accidental germination of seeds, store in waterproof, lightproof container. A quality coin deposit box is recommended and this also has a lock to protect your valuable collection. If you need to store your seeds for an extended period of time, place them in a moisture proof container and place that container inside another moisture proof container so that they are double sealed. Store the container at -10C/14F or cooler temperatures.


let them sit a day or to in the dark and you should be good.

I had all my seeds in the freezer and most of them germed. Think about nature, and how the plant would reproduce on its own. If it was in a cool climate the seeds would drop and get froze over the winter anyway...I dont see much of a difference. I didnt put the seeds in the freezer to keep them, I just put the bud in there to keep fresh and I gave it a shot germin em and I had great results...

I've always used the freezer with no problems. The main thing is keeping them dry, dry, dry.

I once took 2.5 onces of seeds and stems and put them in gin wrapped in a black sock and shook once a day for a month, drank it- got the drunken giggles- kinda weird- i prefer beer, but a good one timer for that big nasty stash of seeds and stems.
