i need to vent my grow tent. 3 ft x 3ft x 7 ft. i have a cool tube reflector and that is hooked up with a inline fan going into the attic. then i have a carbon filter taking air out of the tent and pushing it into the attic. then passive air intakes. is ther a good way to hook the carbon filter and cool tube into ducting and eliminate one hole in my roof without losing suction through the carbon filter ????

you'd have to connect the tubes on the outside of your tent. like two coming out of the tent then splice those two into one line.

cause you don't want to suck hot air thru the filter. so i think this is the only way. and you will lose some cfms.

Here is a question? Why is it bad to suck warm air from the room through the carbon filter? How do you think most people set up their filters. Sit it on the floor in the room, sit a votex fan on top of it. vent the air outside from the fan. Have I been doing something wrong all this time?

well i have been reading a lot bout this and from numerous threads sucking hot air through the carbon filter reducew dramatically the oder reduction. and by the way its my thread so i had to punk this jerk off

You can either pull warm air through your filter, or push warm air through your filter. no matter how it is done, warm air will be going through your filter. So most likely someone gave you advice who did not know what he was talking about. But myabe I do not understand totally what you are saying also.

well all the hot air from the light is contained in the reflector. so the carbon filter right now is sucking cold grow room air through it.
