basically what the government should do is legalize pot, and then take all that money they were spending on fighting it, to take down the meth and heroine and coke drug lords, this way everyones happy and instead of people running around with knives to steal some money for their heroine addiction, people will be running around with open arms to hug and share weed with oneanother

Right now there are to many senior citizens out there that are being sent the wrong message. The hippie generation has tried for years and continues to try to get these laws changed. And now we have the younger pot head generation coming into the seen, but most don't even bother to vote. It is time to send a message to the younger generation to get them up off their asses and to get them out there to vote, to protest, and to get petitions signed to get this on the ballot each and every voting year!

I am a strong supporter for the legalization of Cannabis. Which brings me to another point I would like to make! Stop calling it marijuana on the ballots, instead we need to be calling it canabis just to throw people off. marijuana sounds evil to most seniors and a like.

WE THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE!

Make your vote count!

vote i want to tell you something. they will not change the name marijuana on the ballots for the simple reason of what you just stated. it sounds diragatory. if the ballot stated cannabis indica or cannabis sativa, more people could see the medicinal benefits of it just by the name. but over the years our government has instilled the image that MJ is a horrible drug and it needs to stay that way from their perspective. yes this is a buch of horse-shit but it will not change until the mentality of our government changes. it is legal to take morphine but it is not legal to toke the smoke. to be honest, if they would only make it legal for medical purposes that would be a good start for me.

How true it is! I would be happy with just better medical marijuana laws.

I'm a medical marijuana user and it was terrible trying to get on the system. It's not that it is a real hard thing to do, but trying to get a doctor, or doctor's to back you up no matter how fucked up you are is near to impossible first off.

Second off, In Colorado you have to have an on going treatment that is related to the disability by your doctor. Someone such as myself who broke his neck and can still walk but with difficulty, has a hard time getting treatment because there are none per-say to help with our severe pains and muscle spasms. Thus the reason for trying to be a medical marijuana user. But the law states you have to have an on going treatment with your doctor. Catch 22 I think they call that.

Its about as hard to find a Doctor in Cali, and I have had distributors deny me meds based on the doctor I have seen. Its hard for the doctors to keep their noses clean because the word leaks out that they approve medical marijuana use. They end up with a reputation for dispersing prescriptions haphazardly because they see so many people they cannot honestly assess every patient. Its quite frustrating. I want to be able to go through my primary care doctor, not see a stranger.

I vote. But I didnt in my 20's. The problem is that the young are too busy being high (on more than weed) and experiencing life to be bothered with political movements. There are very few programs that reach out to the youth that could shape our society. And they do not see themselves as a powerful force. For, how can one vote change the world? They think they are alone in their thinking and thats how it is. Come on, you were young once and Im sure the world was against you. Its not until you start to mellow out (in your mid 30's) that you start to see how you are part of the group of people able to mold society.

Im not saying that all youth fit this description. But many do. Its not a character flaw, its a process of life.

Ponderings of late:

*Why do people die? To make life important.
*Is there a purpose to life? No, life is protoplasm with a reproductive nature.
*Do I belive in a personal "God"? No, the truth is one, but is shown in many faces.
*-isms are very dangerous things.
*We are the vehicle of spirit, we radiate "God" from ourselves to others.
*Eternity is now, experience it now.

Well In my opinion, ALL laws that try to protect ourselfs from ourselfs is fucking assanine and should be stricken from the books. Everything from having to wear your seatbelt to doing and producing Receiational Substances in the comfort of your own home, all providing you wont be endanger someone else.

Our Goverment is another story. Vote?!?! Vote for what the BULLDOGS or the CRIPS or waste your vote on the INDEPENDENT. At least the Cali residents will get the referance for the rest of you they are GANGS and exactly what our goverment has turned into. Two sides fighting it out for all the power and not having anyting to do once they get it. So they do a study and try and fix something that isn't broke and just fuck up. They end up with more ammendments and more loopholes and MORE MONEY SPENT ON UNIMPORTANT CRAP, AND MORE MONEY CUT FROM WHATS IMPORTANT!!!

If reefer was legal, the crack heads, horse addicts, pill poppers and all the rest of the hard drugers would switch. We don't stay out of work, we don't do drive bys, we drive too slow to F%+$# somebody up. we don't O.D., we don't rob people for another toke and on and on and on. Why can't the govmt see this ? What are they on ?

Hard drugs. Its not a proud thing it's just something I ended up getting mixed up with as a teen, that to this day comes back to bug me (the "pull" of addiction). I haven't been involved with that bull shit for quite a number of years, but I will say that being involved in growing has silenced that "pull" and I am very content to watch my plants grow and bloom and smoke a bowl whenever I want. If only the government would look at cannibas as it realy is, peacful, loving, happy, and very calming.

Default Court Costs
Recently a buddy of mine was in court and they charged him eighteen hundred bucks court costs! He was there for no more that five minutes.

He demanded to see a breakdown of the costs to justify paying this amount for the amount of time that he spent in the court room. They were dumb founded (well dumb) and would not follow through, niether did he! Lets face it people, they have put out a budget for this that the tax payers pay. Then they turn around and demand more!

I myself got a ticket for expired licence plates. When I went into motor vehicles and complained that I did not get the card reminding me to pay. I was told that it was a courtesy and they did not have to send these out. I replyed that if they send it, they need to buy postage. If they buy postage it has to be in the budget! If it's in the budget it is not a courtesy, it's required!

Sorry........ same general idea, tax payers waisted money!

Thanks for listening to me roar!
