nooooooo u guys have it all wrong ... dig a hole as round as a 5 gal bucket .. & then dig it deep enough to fit 2 5 gal buckets in ,, ( one on top of the other ) ,, fill teh bottem bucket with water , drill a hole in the middle of the * bottem bucket LID ,, run the * WICK* , i would use a rope about round as a pencil ,, put that rope thru the hole in the lid all the way into the bottem of the bottem bucket ,, next ,, drill a hole in the bottem center of the * top 5 gal bucket ,,, pull the rope all the way to the top ,, then fill with ur medium .. make sure the bottem bucket is full of good PH's water ,, now u have urself a nice homemade wick watering system
