Good to see all the Boveda posts. They work.
C-Vault, nah, not sold on those.
Don't really need the stainless. I keep the jars in a dark cabinet and having clear glass makes it easy to read the hydrometers inside. My current cure is going into six months. I don't pop the lids except to change out the Bovedas every 4-5 months.
Nothing against the C-Vault, if they wanted to give me a couple to try out, I wouldn't refuse, lol.
I have mine coming soon so I will give you some input.
Another plug for the Bovida packs.
Maybe someone should start a "62% CLUB", like the 600 one.
Leave the flowering lights on 24/7. Move the plants to a dark area instead. You have doubled your harvest for the cost of 12 hours of light. When you take then gun out of gun violence, you have...violence. Criminals who create laws create laws which create criminals.
Bud, like most dried herbs, needs to be stored in a cool dark place at about 65-72 degrees. Most grow tents are going to be too hot or fluctuate too much to be an ideal place for bud storage. Temperature does affect the Rh in the jars, that's why I keep an eye on the hydrometers.
The 6-month cured AK47 has become very dense compared to my first 60 days. Rock hard and very potent. The flavors and smell are more developed on the exhale. Nice smoke.
I think drying and curing are the most important steps of the entire grow. You can make it or break it in the cure and dry.
I'm not even near being 72 degrees for drying I'm at around 76-79 then again I'm in fl too so indoor temps are though.
