plants droop after light goes off. Why?

i have a 4x 4 x 7 ft high grow tent and am using a 1000 watt hps. Every night after the lights go off the plants droop and look like they were over watered. Theyre in 3 gallon containers and i water them 1 gallon every 2 days. The humidity is at 40% so I dont see how that could be a problem.

Gosh. that does sound odd. The only thing I can think of is that there is a temp difference that is significant enough for it to affect your plants.
I have a 1000 watt also but I have it in a 14 by 7 grow room and it even gets warm in there.

Plants do that. Look for some 24 hour time lapse video and you can see the cycle the plants go through - up and down, up and down. I saw a marijuana plant one on youtube.

yes, they are awake and perky by the time I wake up and check on them around 8:30 am. (the light goes on at 6 am)
This is my second crop and the first time using a flowering tent and Ive never seen plants do this. I guess if the symptoms get worse I'll keep this thread updated, but for the most part i'll assume that this is just a phase they go through. And it only started recently happening. My temps are around 78f - 85 f during day and about 73f during the night and 35% humidity. I'll post some pics later.
