I have 8(from the same bag) unknown bag seed going and 7 of the tops are all growing alike then i have this strange one that at the top looks like a bud but is really about 4 nodes all bunched together with out the upward growth, is this what happens when people talk about tight nodes?

Tight nodes are referring to the space between each new vertical growth. The smaller the tighter.

OpenDNS... that is what i thought it looked like also but the plant is only about 35 days old.. i wish i could get a better pic... when i look at it you can see 4 node settings stacked upon one another, you can see where the fan leaves are starting to grow. i took about 15 pic's before my camera was able focus in on the spot.
