as most of you who have checked this thread have probably noticed from my number of posts, i'm a newbie grower, but no idiot. i have my fair share of common sense.
im about to set up my first stealth pc grow, and i have the opportunity to fit a few different spectrum cfl's in my box.
im not planning on vegging long, as this is going to be a micro/low yield experimental grow.

on to the real question. i know that 2700k is the right spectrum for flowering and around the higer end 6700k is better for veg, buttttttt
what happens if you have 3 or 4 bulbs a couple of the lights at the 2700k range and a couple at the 6700k range? im particularly interested in the results from mixing these spectrums during 12/12.

ive got a theory that if you have say... three bulbs at 2700k and one at the higher end, the buds will get the best of both worlds with a concentration in the flowering range.

but idk... will this stress my babies or will it do what i think it will and give it a killer fattening growth?

has anyone tried this or could you point me to a thread that has possibly already gone over my question.
noobs appreciate the help.

also, about how long does it take for a germinated seed planted about a half inch in soil to break through the soil and show a sprout?

IDK about cfls, but spectrum mixing in HIDs works great. I have 400w MH and HPS lights in one of my flowering rooms and get just as big and tight buds as I do with my 1000 watter.

On to your second question - the seed will probably sprout in about 2 days or so, but that's gonna vary on the strain, germination method, soil used, lights... etc

hey thanks for the answers widow. spectrum mixing is spectrum mixing regardless of the bulb as far as physics goes, so if it works for you i guess itll work for me.

you wouldnt have any experience with micro/semi-stealth grows would you, since i have your attention on this thread and all?
