Leave the lights off for at least ten hours from when you turned them off and it shouldn't effect your babies at all

Stunned's advise is good.

I had been using older Intermatic dig timers and replaced two of them with these newer ones.

I had the same thing happen to me last year, two of these newer Intermatic digital timers decided to malfunction. I'm 100% sure these newer Intermatic timers are rubbish and not caused by power fluxuations or anything like that, every grow light I have runs through one of two very large APC UPS's. I've never had a hot start since I began using UPS's.

Threw the Intermatic newer digital timers away, and went back to using my older intermatic dig timers, funny thing is, at CVS, you can get a better digital timer than the newer Intermatics for $9.99.

I used to use digital timers but had a problem with them dropping out, so i went with these segment timers because they are basic, simple very much foolproof weird they have performed well maybe a clitch time will tell excuse the pun....

Those analog segment timers never fail unless you soak them, I have some customized feeding routines that flood for 3 minutes and off for two hours, so I'm forced to use digital timers, but I'll never buy an Intermatic digital timer again, unless its old stock.
Two failed and plenty of similar horror stories you can read at other forums and google with growers using this timer from hell.

That model Intermatic dig timer is just a bad product, bad enough they charge $25 and up for a product we rely on, when it fails, it could be bad depending on how often a grower checks his system.

Sadly I've had two timers go out on me over the last year. That's why I knew the answer to the question. I'm running on manual right now I just unplug it after work plug it back in when I wake up. Not ideal but not too bad as long as I don't work late.

Big + for the manual segment timers, the heavy duty grounded model coms with 3 sets of on/off tabs.
