Exclamation Did I Fuck Up???? Need Help

I just received my new light and ballast and was trying to figure out how to install it and i cant figure this damn thing out i have looked all over the internet for instructions.... is this light going to work with this ballast??? do i need more shit???? anyone help

NO I HAVEN'T BOUGHT EITHER I DIDNT KNOW I NEEDED THEM..... how hard is this thing to put together once i get those.... any ideas where i can get them?? not on the internet??? if nothing else i will buy them off the internet but i need it quick..

you need a metal box to encase the ballast as well. I've never built one I just bought one and all I had to do was plug the hood in to the ballast and the ballast to the outlet. Be careful with that shit man!

That is what I was thinking.. That Ballast is 480 volts.

You can buy a 400 watt HPS light for about $300. I am not sure though. The hydro store i go to can sell 1,000 watt lights for less then the 400 watters.

I think the best advice I can give you on your ballast is just walk away. Put it away, and go buy one that is already built. You do not want your first crop to be a Hot-dog and marshmellow cook out.

Thats a 480 volt ballast, you only have 120/240 in the USA the wall socket is only 120v
