2 florescent tubes should work 4 up until ur flowering [1 r2 plants ]im in ireland yous have different an better lights over there

Well, if its only one plant then you can probably get away with 3 42w daylight CFL bulbs (pack of 6 $20 at Wally World). Your light depends on your budget. CFL is by far the cheapest light that works, but will not produce what a T5 would. A T5 will not produce what a MH/HPS combo will. It gets expensive as you move up. Search this site for everything you need.

Cfl's are the cheepest, but keep in mind that when you go cheep you grow cheep.
I read all these forums BEFORE i got anything. Ended up B.S.ing the guy at the HydroShop into sellin me a 4ft 4bulb T5. bout 130 total. but it differs. once you have money buy a new light mang. and check your shit everyday, because it grows and could grow up into the light and burn. also dont over water. two-three times a week tops. trust me the leaves will let you know if your overwatering (start drooping). Another thing you have to watch out for with Miracle Grow is that if you dont add nutes (Sweet,Blackstrap Molasses) your weed will taste like mouth full of miracle grow. and that isnt good..hehe. good luck
