this is my first attempt at cloning, I built a bubbler with a humidity dome over top and after 9 days I got the lil bumps all over the stems. day 10 goes by and I decide to take off the humidity dome, and all the leaves/stems droop. is this normal? did I leave the humidity dome on too long?

I'd also like to add I have more cutting of 5 days in rockwools under another humidity dome. I took off the dome and there was no dropping of the leaves/stems. should I leave the dome off? temps are at 72 deg. and light is a 23 watt daylight CFL bout 14" up

I leave the dome on until they are rooted. I tried taking the dome of after 4 days, but exactly the same thing happened to me. If you spritz them and put the dome back on they sould be fine.

I also hear that humidity domes are for only the first few days since cutting. can anyone confirm this? I've also seen some bubblers w/o humidity domes from day 1 of cutting

how bout rockwools? do you also remove the dome after a few days?

i keep my dome on the first three days. then i take it off and they wilt for 2 days. during those 2 days i mist them with water. once they perk back up i leave them alone keeping the dome off.

i leave the dome on till the first roots start to show then i take the dome off. this helps my soil start to dry out. so i mist 3 or 4 times a day.

now my veg is 70 degrees in the day and 59 at night so it takes me 10 days just to show root. then about anther 5 days for the leaves to turn back green.with misting 2 times a day.
i just did a tray of 36 and i got 25 that lived.
