Ok so after browsing the forums for a while im about to do my first grow and im excited!

Im even more excited because im guna be growing Diesel ryder. Im just collecting the last little bits in my set up berfore i start a grow journal.

I have a decent amont of space for two mayb three plants closet grow.

Just a couple of questions befoe i get started!

Im taking it as there is no veg i can start it on my 400watt hps after the seeds have germinated and in soil?

Also what is a good hight for the light to be at? Do i need it closer to the plants at the beggining or will it fry them?

Errmm thats about it, expect to see the start of my Diesel ryder journal in the next 2 wees

everyone who has grown lowryder recommends still go with CFL for the first 2-3 weeks then hit em with a hps. the theory being the blue spectrum light of the cfl's will help them grow more while they veg for the first few weeks, then when the start to flower around week three the hps will be more helpfull.

if you dont have cfl's i wouldnt worry about it though just make sure you keep them at least 18 inches from the plants to start because any closer and you will prob fry them or at least stunt their growth. hope that helps

Hey I'll definitely be following this grow the whole way through...I'm in the midst of planning my first grow and I'm trying to decide if I should go with an authoflowering strain or just keep a normal strain short...goodluck man I hope all goes well

Yup ive ordered all the equipment on monday this week actually. Ive already germed 3 for outside growth to see how they do (bought 20). As soon as i get everything ill get my frist grow and gernal up and running

How do u plan on limiting the smell? Or is that not an issue for you?

I have been growing lowryder for a long time now and I recomend using 400 watt hps the whole way. Im using 2 1000s right now growing auto ak it some wild stuff man. As far as the lighting goes if the light is cooled you can have it pretty close just do the hand test. Take your hand and put it at canopy level and if your hand is hot its to close if its not hot your good then man.
