Default Why only 3 fingers?

I was wondering if there is a problem with my plants. There about 2months old and there about 12inches high and about ready to flower. Only one problem. They only have three leaves. They have about 5 sets of leaves but still only three fingers. WTF?

thats not so strange. plants can have a wide variety of mutations. some plants can have 20 fingers on a leaf, some 3.
