chance of helicopters spotting me ???

sup guys i was just wondering whats the chance of me getting caught by helicopters i have a 1.2m grow tent in my top bedroom the tent inside has mylar all inside and the lighting is a 600 watt hps

im not really scared as i know theres a risk but i just want to know the chances and how much safer is it running a 400 watt or a 250 watt

also does the helicopter detect all the heat in your house or just the leaking heat

IMO, the short answer is your chances of being spotted are about zero. 600W is nothing as far as heat signatures go. I'm of the opinion that the danger of being spotted by a helicopter is greatly overstated....in many cases by LEO as a scare tactic.

Work Google and look at the size of operations being busted by helicopters - they are huge.

thanks alot yh when you hear bout this thermal technology and then when you see a few helicopters it can really freak you out

I think unless you are a major grower they arent going to waste their time, could you immagine all the time,paperwork getting the search warrant, suvrvailance time, and on top of that how much money it would cost in order to do all that just for a few plants, that would have a street value of a couple hundered bucks. Yeah i know the governtment wastes our money in stupid ways but not that stupid. And heat signatures in a house? Dont you have a heater, stove, oven wich all produce heat and a heat signature, and have venting through the attic and out the roof. No worries. Also LEO or FLIR spend a lot of time looking for huge outdoor grow operations, as bud plants put off more heat at night than that of surrounding vegetation, so that is how they spot them. In the city in a house there are so many different heat sources that they would not be able to identify what it is, it isnt x-ray vision.

And I bet no one with a 500 watt aquarium light ever thought....Man I hope leo doesn't do a flyby and mistake my aquarium for an illegal pot grow....Honey we better take the aquarium back to the store....It's just too risky!!!!
