ro water

Hi ive been growing for a while and have started using ro water just to see if i can better previous crops, things are going very well. when i change the water i check the ph and and its now 5.3 or below since using ro water, I change the water every 3 or 4 days completely emptying the tank. the plants new groth has turned a little yellow in the last few days, should i constantely ajusted the ph or mix it a bit hi. ive defantely adjusted the ph to 5.8 in the first place. Also the ro water read at 4.3 and i have to use alot of ph up tp adjust up to 5.8

any advise please

Too low of PH will lock out nitrogen, which is your yellowing problem. Personally, I don't like RO water, but I'm sure it has a lot to do with how bad your water is to start with. They make water softeners, dechlorinators, sediment filters, ect. so even if you have bad water you probably don't need to resort to using RO - you can also get your water tested for cheap (free if you don't mind listening to a sales pitch from home depot)

You need the RO/DI system the DI strips the ions from the water. No ions means that your ph doesn't rebound like whats happening to you. Read up on Ph, and you will understand what it's all about.
