Question PUSH or PULL through air cooled reflector???????????

I just bought a 1000w digital greenhouse hps light from htg with a air cooled reflector. Now im wondering what type of fan should i purchase to cool the light? and is it more efficient to push or pull air through the reflector??? I was thinking i could pull air through the reflector and have a Y adapter to suck air out the top of the grow tent at the same time. opinions please.....

In-line fans are more efficient when pulling the air.

pulling air out of one side of the reflector doesn't help to reduce temperatures, learned from first hand experience

ya need to have air running in one end and air being pulled out the other and exhausted
