Week 5 of Flowering....UPDATE^^^^ 450 watts of flouresents!

Hey all this is my plant at 5 weeks flowering.

How is she looking?

any comments/suggestions/critisism?

What pic is it flowering in. Those look like seedlings and one plant that is not flowering. Thats not 5 weeks flower bro..

ha ha ya those were pics of her when she was a baby im a little too blazed to do this right now but i fixed it anyway....

imo you could buy one 400 hps light an pruduce more bud faster then what your doing right now...peace az

yea thats true but i have heat and space issues.

you could run a 400 ina cool tube with a 4inch muffin fan ina 2x2-2x3...less watts an heat then your doing now...peace az

Yeah looks rough and pretty far back for 5 weeks flower but with cfls you wont really get to much off the plant anyways.Typical sativas run 9-12 weeks cfls ads 5 or so week so if your at week 5 then about 2 more months at least

wow, this is shocking, i have been under the impresion that it was indica dominant. its not very tall, maybe 3 feet tops.
What do you think the indica/sativa ration is?

As for it being "rough". what do you suggest i do to perk her up a little?

would a 250 wt hps be a better choice than 400 plus wts of cfl's?

no doubt.get the hps man.

Yeah its clearly sativa the leafs are very thin and long not sure why you though indica as the leaves would be much much fatter about 10 times fatter.Im gonna say its at least 80% sativa if not 100% most bag weed is commercial sativa. A 400 watt hps would be trhe best of those listed.CFLS just dont give off much light or penetration so they just kinda suck for growing unless you buy the real grow ones which are 150-300 actual wattas and are about 18 inches long and U shaped not spiral

hmmm ok that sounds legit, i am possitive that it's sativa now. i guess i thought it was indica because of how bushy she is.

I guess i will go HPS next grow because i dont want to stress her with a lighting change.

O and Fletch by rough were you refering to some droopy leaves?

yeah the tops look like possibly heat stressed maybe to close to the cfls as cfls put off a good amount of heat compared to the light they give. The look curled and droopy

the only real problem i have with her is that the sides of the leaves tend to fold under or point straight down. And then a few leaves have the CLAW effect going on.

i have never gotten a straight answer on why....any ideas?

lol im not to worried about it. ive seen alot of grows that are further behind me at 5 weeks. and besides it already has more than an 1/8 on it dry.
