i just home and my 3 plants, very small about 2inches each, have fell over, they r lieing down in the dirt, what could be the prob????

give specifics .... what lights? how close are they? what type of pots? what type of water?

not enough water? too much water? light too close? light too far away? too cold? too hot? ph too high? ph too low? too much nutes? bugs?

I had the very same thing happen to me when I used peat pots once.... I switched pots and the problem was solved

each plant has 2 150W cfl's about 2 inches away, it got very hot in there when i was gone, 90F and the dirt seems to be very dry, gonna water it now,just planted it last nihgt, still in rockwool, and put in 3gal pails

It's good that you have a fan in there.. but raise the lights...contrary to what these folks say, you need to keep your cfl's 5 or 6 inches above babies... when they get rooted you can lower the lights.

These are vegged with CFL's and I'll be honest with you.... my lights have never been closer than 4 inches.

Also, what type of water?

i would say the heat did that 95 degrees is hot for a seedling

tap water, left out since last night, in the same room as the plants so its not to cold

Agreed. I never have my lights closer than 5 inches until the babies are 10 days old
