6th Week into buddin

There's lots of orange and amber hairs about the top colas, im just starting the 6th week. I would figure i have another two, possibly three weeks left. Is that about right? Im asking so i know when to start giving it plain water.... and the pics dont do much justice. I would say at the top there's 10-15% amber and middle to the bottom like 5%, but the tops had nothing last week. I have a 400watt HPS and a 150hps.....using jack's blossom booster @ 1/2 strength

Is that the hairs or the THC gland heads, (trichomes)?
What is the strain?

I dunno, just some seed i got outta some killer KB a while back, the thick white hairs are turnin dark amber, i'll work on a better pic

I think it would be a good idea for you to see if you can get a small hand held microscope or magnifying device to watch your trichomes as they ripen....
This will give you a better idea of when to switch to pure water only...

You need about 70-90% amber hairs, trichs milky/cloudy some amber, so I'd say you've got at least another 3-4 weeks, when you've got about 50% amber hairs I'd start flushing with plain water.

they look awesome except they need another 4 weeks at least. don't worry though if they continue as they are you will not be disappointed. you buds look beautiful.
