Default help!! is this normal or strech
some of these seedlings are 4" tall and are still working on their first set of true leaves. is this normal or are they stretching? Any advise?

I'll add pix as soon as I can get them to upload any advise there?

no thats not normal they arent getting enough light

Looks like they are a bit leggy...might need more light. What kind of light are you using?

using two florescent bulbs ( just ones from homedepot that said they are for plants) most of the time but I have been trying to put them in the south facing window as much as possible and give them real light.

I didnt think I needed that serious of a light set up for the early veg stage

I would say you can veg for a little while with those lights but they will need to be within 1-2 inches from your plants and you need a fan on them, blowing very gentle for now because they are stretched.

is putting them in real light a good idea? I wan them to be used to it as they are going out side?

Might be the natural light causing the issue. I keep my seedlings under two 40 watt flouros until they get going. I keep the light about 3 inches away and use one natural light bulb and one warm light. I think I read somewhere that the cool or bright whites don't work as well.
