ok so ive been having this plant for like almost 2 weeks and i swear its not even an inch tall.. or maybe it is but its still small. and its starting to get kinda brown and shriveled up on one seedling leaf. but on the other seedling leaf is yelloww on the tip. the pointed leafs are ok and green.. i keep under a 100 watt light.. i water it everyday when i wakee.. ive changed the soil like 2 times and put manuer for indoor plants.. what am i doing wrong?

Doing a couple things wrong.

Firstly, dont water your plant everyday. It more then likely can go a couple days without water, and you need to allow it this time, so that roots can get oxygen.

Secondly, I think you are talking about the cotyles, and in that case, those leaves are suppose to die. Are the leafs that are dieing the very bottom ones? if so, then you are ok, and those are suppose to die, after the plant can support itself.

if its not the cotyles, then let me know, and well find out whats wrong

we could use a little more information on your setup.

What kind of soil are you using?
What kind of light? CFL? HPS? MH?
How far away are your ights?
Are you adding nutes?
Whats the temp?

The answers to these kinds of questions can help us further in finding out what exactly is wrong with it.

Some soil is able to saturate water better then others. You might be overwatering it, because some soil you dont have to water for every 4 days. Do the finger trick and stick your finger 2" into the pot and feel if its dry. Changing the soil can also put the plants under stress if your messing with the roots, so be very careful when transplanting and changing soil.

i really dnt know what kind of soil i am using. but i took it from a palm tree plant that is outside my house.. but its brand new soil. and i am using compact florescent lamp lights.
my light is about 10 inches away from my plant.. and i duno what nutes are so i doubt im using them. the temperature is bout 80 degrees. and yes its the cotyles, the rounded leaves. so yeahhh help me

That would also be a problem, if your using CFLs you should put them about 2-3" away from your plants. 10" is wayyy to far. They are just going to stretch and stretch to reach the light. Get em alot closer and I"m sure you'll see a big difference.

EDIT:
If your CFL light starts getting hot, get a 120MM PC fan and hook it up to blow towards the lights, or just get an oscilating fan.

Try and also find out what NPK is in that soil.

If you can get a fan in there or around the plant also do that.

ok now the lights are like 3 inches awayy. and i put a fan to circulate the air flow and keep it cool in theree.. but can i cut back on the watts of the light?
because i dnt want to use that much wattagee.

cfl use less than normal house bulbs so you dant have to cut back the can be on 24/7 and only cost you 20c the most a week
