for one....there is no way to completely hide ANY smell from a dog. dogs noses are compared to eagle's eye. the shit is bad ass plain and simple!

second, dogs smell way different than us. when we smell macaroni, we smell macaroni!!! but when dogs smell macaroni, they are smelling the cheese, milk, pasta, water etc etc! Therefore...all you guys trying to use peanut butter, coffee grounds/beans, vicks, and all that rinky dinky shit. IT WONT WORK. YOU THINK IT WILL WORK, but it wont. a dog will separate the smell and alert if its something he is trained to smell

three, everything is permeable, meaning it can be leaked thru. I dont care if you wrap that fucker 10 times with surgical gloves being changed each time you wrap. the smell will STILL permeate thru the bag.

four, never ever ever prepackage shit. if you are going to bring something with you and are trying to deter dogs, it better to do it right before you have to leave. the fresher the seal, the better.

five, i repeat, there is no way you can disguise any smell from a dog. its total bullshit. all you people in this thread that swear by their methods, i call bullshit. it doesnt work.

the trick is to throw the dog's nose off. by that i mean get his attention on other focuses. the dog handler can NOT differentiate the alerts that the dog makes. i.e. alert for drugs, alert for human, alert for food. ITS ALL THE SAME.

hiding contraband in foods will throw off the dog handler. if the dog smells the food and alerts the food, the dog handler will just think the dog is going crazy over food.

same thing with cat scents as well as deer piss and fox urine...all that shit!

Twice before I have been subject to a drug dog search: An Immigration checkpoint on the border; and when I was in the military. In both cases I was clean because I did not smoke. As a result I did not see the absurdity of random drug searches at the time.

Anyway, in both instances I was in a place where I would have been absolutely screwed had I been holding. My point is, why do you choose to incriminate yourself when you know a drug dog will be employed. If you think there is even a chance of such a search taking place, leave the cannabis off campus.
