Default Is there any soil treatment or spray for pest prevention 4 the entire growing season?

I have found countless things on my plants, mostly catapillars, i'm wondering if there's anyway to keep pests away the entire season either through one time use, or continual use weekly, bi weekly, or whatever. I am going to build a retractable roof for my plants to keep bird shit and off of it and rain without blocking the sun, and if there's pre-treatment to keep pests away the plants will be much happier, and I'll be much happier seeing clean buds. Man, harvesting dirty plants is such a downer. I have two plants that are about a month and a half out, with bud just starting to form, I would be really happy if I could get through them without a pest infection or mold or anything else. Hah, I was just worried about growing and not so much the environmental factors, Big mistake, glad I got it out of the way

there probably isnt a gauranteed one off spray as rain or watering would wash it out although multi- sprays are available for thrips, spdermites etc. do it every week or so. the only sort of 'cure all' is neem oil, the multi sprays are available at any half decent gardening shops and dont cost much.

So i did a bit of research on the Green Light 16 oz. Neem Oil (Organic). With this stuff you'd just wash the whole plant down once a week with the proper mixing percentage and what not? Have you ever used this stuff before? I will be at the store buying some right now if it works.

And you can spray this directly on the buds and just wash it off no prob? Should I stop using it 1 week before I harvest or 2 weeks so they dry outside a bit?

..yeah mate its just a spray, mix neem with warm water, its an oil and it goes solid in a cold area, so you need to heat it up to get the sprayer to work properly. not sure about the timescale as regards harvest but its not poisonous so its up to you.

I know your outside but you can get a 50# bag of diatomaceous earth for about $30.You can put a layer on the ground around your plant, works great against soft-bodied creepy crawlies.Good luck.peace
