how to get BIG SCROG buds?

if height is not much a concern since my screen is a foot from the buckets (its a DWC setup btw) and can still grow about 2.5 ft until they'd get bleached from the lights (1kW)....

would it be a good idea to veg 100% of the screens and then let the stretch rise them up?

or would that be a bad idea? lol..

this is my first SCROG and idk what to expect from the stretch phase

im growing SLH, Liberty Haze, Blue widow and critical +.... i've read that SLH and Critical + are pretty huge plants and were recommended to scrog..

and i have the space to grow bigger plants but i want to get the maximum yield i can and i think 1000 AC cooled watts at 9" away from canopy would be able to easily penetrate about 2 ft. (no worries on bleaching or burning i've done my hw)

i can obviously adjust the lights if this wasn't the best way to do it

This is also the time to position the branches how you want them.
