Hello All
Tied one plant down and went back 10 mins later to discover it was bent over completely. F!@#$%^&*. Did a quick operation and have splinted the stem. Is she going to recover?????
Best wishes Afro

as long as the stem didn't actually snap off completely then it will recover, if it snapped clean through i doubt it, but i did see a pic of a plant that was snapped but immediately splinted back on and it took. so i'd say keep an eye on it and see if it heals. and it might.

the main stem of one of my babes was damaged when it was being transfered, it was completely crushed in one half inch section about 4-5 nodes down from the top and really splintered bad. I bound it up in some velcro gardening strips and tape and tied a bamboo stick to the stem for support, after about a week I removed the splint and bandage and everything was nicely healed up with only a fat knot in the stem to show for its damage. This was 1 of 2 plants, the one that had been bandaged was actually about 3-4 inches shorter than the other one, yet showed no lack of vigor compared to the other. This happened and was done during the first week of flowering.

My main stem on my Afghan bent right in half. 1-2 days later it healed it self.. I didnt even splint. if it snapped off (which i kind of doubt) then thats a different story that i have no experience with :)

Hello.
Thanks for the replies. I looked after a long break (I had to go to work, clowning around again) and it seems to be doing okay. After all it is weed, and pretty hardy. I felt like such a dick head bending one of me females. But fingers crossed it'll be good.
A joke for you all.

All the green good luck to you all.
Love my plants and can't wait to harvest them.
