can a guy attach and vent out on the large cylinder vent that the hot water tank and furnace vents out the roof with?

If this is a gas hot water tank and furnace I would ask an expert how to do it. (i'm not one.)

make sure its an exhaust and not a combustion air intake, you dont wanna plug that

Heres the room i built, i have it venting to the chimney, didn't know if i would have trouble or not with it when i made it, but for the 6 months i have been flowering in it, no trouble, (except for the one male plant)
