hey guys I just got another 400 watt mh for free . currantly I have a 3x3x8 closet with 1 400 watt mh on 4 plants in a dwc system. temps are staying around 75-78 degrees .plants are only 2 1\2 - 3 weeks old. dou you guys think it would hurt if I stuck another 400 watter in there if I kept the temp about the same? and do you think it would benifit the plant any. oh and by the way it would be in a cool tube just like the other light. or would you get a mh to hps conversion bulb so I could get the best from both worlds or just wait till flower time and put it in with the hps conversion bulb? any suggestions? or is it possible that much light in that space is a waste of time energy and electricity.

4 plant in that space with a 400 fine Id stay with that and use the other one
in a defferent closet the more the better.

well I would use it in a different closet but I dont have any more closets. I got my mothers/clone area under construction under my 75 gallon fish tank ( 4foot x 19 inches deep and 27 inches tall ). I'm using leds right now and some cfls when I get them . the 400 mh is to big and hot for that area. I kinda thought the same thing cheeta said more light the better . exspecaily? when in flower and I switch it to a hps conversion bulb.

shure can I got a 6" sunleaves can fan at 440 cfm cooling the one I got in there now sucking through the cool tube.oh and its a sealed system with its own seperate intake and exhaust.

well man, it's up to you when to change photoperiods.i'll say, that you can veg your plant for atleast 4 weeks (that depends from the closet's height actualy), but BEWARE, because the plant will ATLEAST double in size ones when forced to flower. Cheetah
