Default How long will it take for my plants to recover??

Ok, so ive been PH'ing my water/feed at 6.4-6.5 everytime and im in canna coco...the other day i found out its essential for the PH to be 5.8 and maybe a bit higher in flower (6.0). My girls are showing signs of deficiencys obviously from the lockouts. I looked at the PH table yesterday and was amazed at what i was locking out! I think they was only gettin nitrogen and a few other things before! Phosporus wasnt even on the scale on 6.5! Thats how much i was off! No wonder there off to a slow start, they are 8 inches after 3 weeks from rooted clone. Jus fed them today with A&B, rhizo and a couple drops of superthrive at bang on 5.8...so how long will it take to get back to normal? And will they be ok?? Live and you learn i suppose! Cheers everyone!

6.5 should be ok for PH, its getting up but should be fine, are you growing soil or hydro? while they are establishing a strong root system the top growth may show signs of deficiencies and slow growth but when the roots are strong the plant should take off

you still shouldnt be too worried, 6.5 isnt too high, my tank water is very alkaline and i have trouble keeping ph below 6 with the plants feeding heavily for a decent amount of time and i dont have any trouble (until i got bacteria from the tank dammit). Im sure that the optimum PH will make growth better but plants are able to handle fluxuating ph from what ive seen and read. So i wouldnt worry and you should see better growth in a few days as long as the PH is the only thing causing any issues.

BTW i use a DWC bubbler system with no medium and my plants handle the PH changes so coco should handle it even better

There taking over my life mate ha ha...i do look after them though and its sad to see minor things going wrong when your caring for them all the time! Its my first time aswel so somethings telling me i shouldnt have jumped in the deep end with coco but see what happens!

Haha youve just got the virgin jitters. I was the same 1st time and most people i know are the same. dont stress about minor problems just keep on top of them and keep up the basics - PH, air, light, temperature etc. some times the best way is just to do less, you can care too much and over do things. Ive heard coco is great and when i use soil i put alot of coco in and the roots love it. I'm sure as long as youre not over feeding/watering or the opposite you will see improvements soon.

Sometimes i sit and read in my grow room just because i like the environment, its my happy place
