is there any limit to how cold the air can be without damaging the bulb if vented through the lamp??? where I live it might get to 5 or even -4 fahrenheit, but only in the most extreme cases.. if I would vent -4 air from outside through the lamp would it destroy the bulb?

That's a good question. I couldn't answer it tho cause it's always hot here

I bet those crazy canada people know the answer to that
