Growing In a Sliding Door Closet

Hello all, Will here, I decided to grow in my sliding door closet for the sheer size of it and the fact that it has perfect shelf arrangements and a wall outlet, the only problem is, the only ventilation is in between where the doors slide on the hindge, about an inch and a half going from the cieling to the floor, plus im going to use these lights:
500W FLUOREX HIGH INTENSITY GROW LIGHT CFL HYDROPONIC - eBay (item 190201976623 end time Mar-06-08 15:54:42 PST)

Will this be fine with a proper fan, keep in mind there is no way to drill any type of holes for the doors are custom and mirrored.

That would work, but from experience I would pick up maybe a 250w hps for the closet...I've used the same type of closet and usually just kept the other side cracked for most of the time and closed it up when the lights went off.

What would be the downside to using these bulbs?

its not even 500 watts. its 500 watt equivalent!!!!

27,000 lumens..... That bulb only puts out 6000 lumens, an 250w hps puts out 33,000 lumens.

It'll work, you'll just have a poor yield compared to using the hps.

that light wont get very hot, if you did decide to go with an HID you could vent through a hole in the ceiling, thats what I do

Then my best bet is to use these for veg then switch to hps (Since I have like 10 hps bulbs lying around but alas, no ballast) for flower.

ya,,,,make sure u use a cool white/ or daylight bulb for veg..... u have 10hps bulbs?

Also with the 250w, u save heat....I used cfl's for flower and my heat was terrible...I got an hps and my temps stays around 85.
