Dish soap to use as surfactant. Found this at Walmart... Good thing to use?
I was looking for a detergent that was as plain & simple as they come... So many have "antibacterial" shit these days... And of course they're often loaded with dyes & fragrances.
So in the kitchen detergent aisle I found "baby bottle" soap but even it had a fragrance added. Damnit... these ass clowns kill me...
A few steps down further I did find this product...

Clearly states on the bottle Free of Dyes & Fragrances... No mention of antibacterial...
Seem like a good solid choice?
I had read elsewhere (and my findings were the same) that even Dawn and Dial are not easily found without those additives... Someone actually mentioned "The Dollar Store" or something like that as being the only place they could find the version without the additives...
So in lieu of finding what I found, I was just going to use Dawn... since we know it's often used for animal rescue, etc... Plenty of recent imagery of BP cleanup efforts doing birds, etc in plain old Dawn...
I used whatever the wife had under the sink for washing dishes ( usually some eco friendy stuff), as a surfactant when I had mites ... but with the small amount used I really don't think it matters .. it's not like your spraying it on your buds just before harvest.

Yeah. Wasn't sure how much it really mattered given the small amounts used... but figured while I'm there staring at a shelf with several choices... try to pick the best choice...
Plus I did want to avoid the anti-bacterial versions from what I had read somewhere... IIRC...
I use Dawn myself, but if you want to be fancy buy a bottle of yucca extract for around $6-$8. Add a few drops to water and you basically have Wet Betty from Advanced Nutrients.

It does matter if the soap that you are using has detergent and perfumes in it. Dr. Bronners soaps are the cleanest that can be found. The company is very vocal in the fight to legalize hemp and they deserve the support of cannabis growers everywhere. Check them out, I'm sure yu will find their products superior.
