    You can get activated carbon filter mesh at an aquarium store. Layer it,cut to size, whatever.. I use it to top my 30 gallon charcoal tub. air in the bottom and out the top. Don't how the restricted flow will effect a small fan.
    Have a great one. Advice is for folks with a legal grow and worth what you paid for it.
