sex question

this might sound like a dumb ass question but my pops always told me it isnt a dumb question if you dont know the answer, so heres the deal i have 2 plants goin planted at the same time cuz i thought they were both autos but i guessed wrong and got my info wrong, these plants are 3 weeks from seed the true auto is my g13 labs auto blueberry she s showing pistils like crazy, but the other is a feminized pyramid seed PIPI, how long does it take for a regular plant to show sex or does it happen when the light cycle is switched??? all the help is appreciatedDSCN1906_1386.jpg DSCN1905_1385.jpgthe first pic is the auto blueberry look close you can see the pistils these pics were taken 3 days ago, the second is the PIPI plant

nice babies... you might start preflowering real soon, but id wait about 2 weeks before 12/12 depending on your space and grow areas..if you obnly have one maybe you can finish the auto and mother the pipi lol, sounded funny so i had to say it... its a nice strain use it for clones!

regular plants will show sex at around 5 weeks of maturity during the veg period 16-24 hours on 4-6 sets of nodes/branches maybe more , you will have to get close to spot the "pre flowers" these are not buds but tiny little individal calyx's with maybe a few pistils visible or maybe a stalked male flower these preflowers will enable you to sex the plant during the veg cycle

in order for the plant to actually flower and produce buds, you will need to switch the cycle to 12 hours the buds on a healthy plant will be visible from 10-14 days after the 12/12 has started

autos will obviously flower and produce buds without changing the cycle at all

lol good thinkin, i actually pulled 5 clones off the PIPI yesterday and have them in the humidity dome, i also have 4 other plants im thinking about turnin into mothers they are original amnesia, sour jack, blue cheese, and bubblelicious!!! by the time the clones have rooted they should all be about the same size and the auto will be finishing flowering before i flower the other plants due to the space theyre in

@Newb, I hope ur pic was from a while ago that u posted cause I don't c how u could get 5 clones off that plant and still have sumptin to grow.

had to of been, i dont even see 5 spots to clone that chick, and the shock on that would be intense lol. the pipi is a pretty nice plant though, real tight no stetch... good job man

about a week ago thi pipi is a freak and grow fast as hell nice and bushy i pulled off the bottom 5 nodes would ve been 6 but the last one was too short, i planted the clones 3 days ago and they are already stanting back up straight and have an inch of new growth and the mother has an insane amount of nodes ill have more pics on my journal thurs
