I Need Help With My Lighting.

So what type of lights should i use to grow my weed. I know to use the MH or the HPS bulbs are best and id like to use either one. But when i go to the home depot im not sure what im looking for because i find the MH and HPS bulbs but dont know what watt i need or how much lumes output i need. Im only trying to grow like 4 or 5 plants in a small box that im trying to make a grow box. Also they told me that those lights are used for outdoor and they wouldnt work indoor, how do set it up to where i can use my MH or HPS bulb indoor?

hey man, you have the option of running 250, 400, 600 and 1000 watt. those are the most typical indoor grow sizes for HID. You will also need some sort of hood and ballast of the same size bulb. To be honest, with a question like that you should prob pick up a book or movie on growing before you decide to start spending money on anything. Knowledge is power and to be able to grow good plants you'll need a lot of power. You can find a lot of helpful videos on youtube or if you're a pirate find jorge servant grow dvd, that shit is pretty helpful. This forum is also very resourceful when you open you're eyes a bit. just make sure that the topic isn't already around like a million plus times before you pop questions like these. and to answer you're question just a little more thoroughly, you can hit 4-5 plants with whatever size bulb you want, it will just affect your yield.

As stated you need more than a bulb. Kits are generally cheaper.

okay so lets say i buy the kit for it. is that all i would need to make the light work or would i have to plug it into a outlet or would i have to wire it into my house?
