Are you sure about that off peak price ? seems kinda low.

A 600w burning 18 hours a day will burn 324 Kw hours in a 30 day period.

also, learn to do math.

if it take 324kw per month, running it from 7pm to 1pm would cost $17 per month.

he said he's switching to that to help with the bill. he wanted a cost estimate on his electricity use and i had a calculator handy.

I just checked the link above and it appears that .05254 is correct for off peak. That is one hell of a deal. You better get the wife to do the laundry and dishes on off peak too !!!

that is a slamming rate. we're at about .095 or so here on peak, maybe .085 or so off peak but i haven't checked in a while.
