Rite I've started 2 reg dairy queen seeds while i wait on my cuttings and was wondering if there's any way i can sex the plant without converting from 18 to 12 then bk to 18 just to go bk to 12. i have heard that if i cover a branch on each plant for a couple days it should sex. any kinda info would help cheers
The brand trick is to create a 12/12 cycle just on the branch, and not the whole Plant. I can't confirm that it works by experience though. Alot of people talk about it and do it though.Myself, I just grab a clone and flower it to tell. Although I haven't had to do it for a bit as I have a mother.

I agree with grumpy take a clone and flower it, I believe it you cover a branch you stand the chance of killing it, I would imagine it would'nt be able to breath enough and yes how would you control a 12/12 light cycle?
no need to even root it. take a cutting, put in cup of water and into flower room. saves 7-14days.
The thought is to cover it to give it 12/12, uncover for lights on, with a brown paper bag or something that still allows it to breath. I wasn't trying to knock it, but if you can clone, why not? You'll end up with 2 plants if a female. It's just better all around. Lol.
