It will reduce the plants water needs, and would help the plant rehydrate a little faster. I would think...
I agree with this, however I would cut some fan leaves aswell and anything that eventually turns "crispy" if you treat it like a clone it should be fine.. im not going to say ive seen worse make it, however I have seen some equally bad pull through with a little tlc.

    i vote no.

the reason i say this is 99% of the times, when my dog, that stupid stupid bitch, gets a hold of one of my plants, she always kills it.

good luck, but i wouldnt go losing sleep over it, just clone one of the others and hope that one isnt too far behind

As said treat it like a clone. Yes root enhancer rapid start is GH too. Superthrive is called superthrive. Even Fred Meyer has it. Trim the fans leaves like a clone.
    edit..rapid start.

Have a great one. Advice is for folks with a legal grow and worth what you paid for it.

would it be quicker to try to heal this one? or to start a new plant from seed. I do have 5 fem papaya seeds. I have 4-6 weeks until I would like to throw these things into my bloom room.

I see now. Yeah, just taking out the bottom set of leaves would be helpful still.

I think it would take a little less time to revive this plant. Not much though.

I don't know about shoving those roots in a starter plug though. I think transplanting into a small pot would work much better.

But yeah, treat it like a clone pretty much.

I think reviving it would be more of a fun/accomplishment sort of thing. Practical, not really when you have fem seeds and the plant is that young.

It works like a vaporizer. We'll get stoned through the vents on the way there.

I find seeds need at least 9 weeks before they are ready for the flower room.

If you don't see preflowers, it is too soon.

right. I'm saying I could start a new seed and try to push it in 6 weeks... or I can try to get this one going. Hopefully it heals in 2 weeks... and then it has 3-4 weeks of veg growth.

    Here's the new set-up:
    DSC00733.jpg

Water bottle with top removed and holes cut in bottom... stuffed with sunshine all purpose and perlite... loosely covered with a freezer bag. The big fan leaves have been removed. There are 2 sets of branches. looks pretty sad. I'll try to post back here in a couple days. Hopefully good news then.

Spray a good amount of water on the inside of the bag. You want to be able to see the moisture. High humidity.

The inside of the bag looks pretty dry. Fuck, I might have not included that in the post.

A spray bottle set to the mist setting is what you want to use. If beads of water are not present on the inside of the bag, you need to spray again.
Hopefully you catch this post tonight. As long as the roots are wet though, it has a good chance of recovering.

it's wet The leaves are not touching the sides of the bag... to avoid drowning in stagnant dew.

and... the bottom sets of leaves/branches have already started perking back up.
