Growing from seed is much different than growing from clones.. From clones, once they root, I usually keep mine under a high output T5 fluorescent fixture for about a week and them move them under the HIDs at max height and slowly lower them to get acclimated to the light intensity. However from seed is a bit different, not much though.. Once you've germinated and planted them, keep it under a fluorescent until it hardens off (that is, basically just until you can see it start growing at a normal pace).. Once it has a couple of true sets of leaves (not including the water leaves at the bottom) you should be fine to move them under HID light at a distance, and like I mentioned slowly lower them each day after. So realistically you should be about good to move them under HID, just remember to slowly decrease distance over time and start them off at a lower intensity. You should be able to tell how they're reacting. Hope this helps. Good luck!

There in a jiffy easy pot and soil set up. Basically a pot that is made of cardboard substance and is bio degradable and u plant the whole thing into your medium when plant is ready to transfer into bigger pot.

Not the best thing to start weed in, but it will suffice this time. Next time just get some solo cups and some good potting soil mix and i guarantee you the plants will grow much faster in the vegg state. What kind of grow space are you doing this in and how big of a plant are you trying to achieve?

If its one of those little starter jiffypots that are like 3 inches big you are gonna need to transplant before it gets 200mm for sure.....the seeds I start in 12ounce solo cups have to be transplanted by 10-12days of vegg under 75watts of fluorescent light

lol i know what jiffy is it usually takes 1 - 2 weeks for the root mass ( 10 - 20 roots out of the bag ) then re-pot do you have them under a low watt cfl?

I tried in soil. But didn't succeed. I'm using a 800mm by 400mm grow tent. I'm only wanting to grow 1 plant at a time. The amount of strain I get dosen't really bother me as it's for personal use. But the seeds I have purchased are for smaller height plants.. I have one cfl grow light system with a 2700k bulb and a 6400k 130w I'm using the 6500 ATM.

so your a small space grower, re-pot at 2 weeks keep it under 6500 18/6 until its 3-4 weeks then change 2700 12/12, watch your temps with small space
