What the fuck happened to my plant?

First time grower here, I just went to check on my seedling I had planted about a week ago.
I approached my grow site, to find an empty bucket of dirt. I dug through it to try and find the seedling, but there was nothing.
I looked around for trail cameras, but found none.
The only think I could think of was a deer must have eaten it.

What the fuck man, that was my only plant.

Was it a seedling, or sprout? Seedling might not of sprouted. If it was a sprout bugs could of ate it.

It had already sprouted, but still had the seed on it's head like a helmet.

If it rained it could be slugs, they ate 9 of my seedlings and I didn't know about them till I checked them one dark damp night

Or GOATS!!!!!!!! they usually wait till you're ready to harvest before they jack you though.

Haha .... came home one day and my 2 ft tall plant was gone! The only sign was dirt strung along the house and a few pieces of scattered rockwool and an empty pot. It was still in veg and my damn dog devoured it!
