Those tiny balls with the hairs are the buds. They grow in clusters then swell more and more until it reaches the end of its life. Probably be 4 weeks until they start to resemble the stuff you are used to smoking. N about 7 weeks give or take depending on the strain until you should chop. How the heck did you get this far without even knowing what the buds look like. LOL?/?

I just second this...although you never really know when it will be done...and I think weed is like bananas...some people like ones that are getting squishy and spotted, while other people like them better when they are still a little green...

I apologize for my incessant rambling, but if you are patient there is inner hidden wisdom in most of my posts...Like playing literary "Where's Waldo."--------------- See, it's fun!

Give it a month and a half! It can be hard to tell when they're done, but those white hair clusters *are* buds, or at least baby buds. Big fat ones will grow there in a little while. Throw some molasses or brown sugar in the water or soil to fatten those nugs up, but they look great.

I gotta be honest man, when I started, I pulled a plant with no sex out of the pot because I thought a top was some male parts. Gotta learn from those early mistakes man!

Based on those pictures, buds are ALREADY forming on your plant. The clusters with the white hairs sticking out are the plants flowers. Right now, they are just "baby" flowers. When the clusters of flowers grow large enough, and you dry them, they'll look like the herb you're accustomed to seeing in the bag.

and how much longer do u think i have before harvest.
Impossible to say EXACTLY, but typically plants take 7-8 weeks after flowering starts before they're "ripe" for harvest.

The way to know exactly is to examine the plants resin glands ("crystals") carefully with a strong magnifying glass or microscope. As the plant matures the glands will turn from clear/colorless to white to amber/yellow. When about 10-15% of the glands are yellow, the plant is ready to be chopped.

its a autoflowering strain not sure if that makes a diff or not.
Not really. It depends on the exact strain, but these plants still typically take 7 weeks or so after flowers start forming before they're ready for harvest.

Unless the plant is entirely tipping over (and even not necessarily then) you probably don't need to do anything. The plant will straighten itself out naturally, or just grow upwards.

Sometimes plants get really heavy with buds and can sag or bend over under the weight. If you're lucky enough for this to be a "problem", you can reinforce the plant by tying it to a stick stuck in the pot like a tomato stake.
