How Do U Keep A Mother Plant For Years Or Is That Possible

im not sure how long u can keep a mother plant growing so u can keep taking clones how would this process work u only 1 to 2 cuttings every month ? i assume cutting alot of clones off it will take it alot longer to grow more back ?

oh and if i were to cut all the growing tips off the plants and plant them as clones would my stock ever grow any tips again ? im meaning if the stock was completly bare ?? or can it still grow alot more tips with just 1 branch on it

What you need to do to keep a mother plant alive is just take care of it or make clones of it with rooting powder or something that you can root with.

yeah just keep it under 18/6 forever and treat her right, but it's best to keep a mom for a shorter period of time as it will get pretty big and need more upkeep/soil, etc. I would think that the number of clones cut at one time would affect the rate of re-growth as theres more sites being regenerated. As for if you cut all the growing tips off, new ones would sprout so no worries there

no it wont(im not 100% though). its not like a rose bush were you can plant it with like no foliage and it grows . you shouldnt cut more than 1/2 off at a time. its even better if you leave 2/3 of the plant.. yea something like that...

yeah if its absolutely bare, its toast. Don't know why one would do that though?

Yes ... The plant will live long as long as you take care of it... When you make a clone and when you cut it off the top all that happens is that the two branches on the sides at the top will take over and take growth... The plants growth might slow down but as long as you got the plant its all goood..

Not only that but Im pretty sure you only cut the growing tips nothing else for cloning . And as soon as you cut one tip it will in two weeks grow back into two tips.

but my question is this why keep a mother plant just take cuttings off your plants jsut before u flower and there you go they will be readyfor the next one
