do NOT order from greners

I usually order from HTG but I ran across Greners online and they had some items I needed that HTG just didnt carry. So I go ahead and place an order for grow medium and some equipment. I order a few packages of 22 pound packages of loose rockwool flock, a ppm meter and a ph pen.. They call me a few days after I place the order and say it is going to be an extra 80 dollars for shipping. I am a contractor, and if i put in a bid and it is accepted, then I realize I underbid it, then I eat the cost for the mistake. Ok, I was like whatever, no problem just ship it. Anyhow, when I recieve the package, the wieght from UPS says each package is only 18 pounds of loose rockwool, even though I paid for 22 pounds. So for each of those packages they shorted me 4 pounds. I am a little annoyed at that point but at least I had the items I needed. So I go to use my ph pen for the first time last nite and when I open it, it is all scuffed up and dirty even though I bought a "new" bluelab ph pen. When I go to use it, it wont turn on. I open it up and there is corrosion all over the batter and inside the pen. WTF. I dont know if that was a return and they just repackaged it and sold it as new, but either way it was obvious used and nonfunctional. Sorry for the rant, but I just wanted to warn you guys what a horrible place this is so none of you make the mistake of shopping there.

Im really paranoid about complaining because of the nature of the items purchased. Im probably just gonna eat the costs and never order from them again. Im going to try to fix the ph pen today and see if I can get it functional.
