Perpetual Grow - Now That I Got The Bugs Worked Out....

Hey gang. I've been smoking 48 years but only growing serious for 6 years. Over the last 6 years my goals as a grower have evolved.
At first I wanted only to be self-sufficient. That wasn't much of a challenge so I went on a tear and started ordering dozens of varieties from Attitude
and started experimenting. After harvesting a hundred or more types I decided I wanted a perpetual grow. I wanted to harvest a plant a week. Forever.

It would be expensive to buy beans for a permanent grow so I spent a couple months refining my cloning technique. By taking 4-6 clones a week I was
able to get my cloning success to 90% from 20-30%. (My cloning improved mostly to 3 insights: jiffy pellets yes, rockwool no, cloning gel yes, cloning powder
no, and using a kushy mother). I bought a cheap 400W. ballast and set up a second smaller room for vegging. I didn't time things too well right after my
cloning improved and I had a house full of plants for a while there. I finally found a balance point where I was harvesting a plant every week and didn't have
to use a machete to find the bathroom. I ended up with 2-4 clones in the dome while 4-5 were vegging at 400W. and 6-8 plants flowering under my 1000W. light.
I wanted to have as small an operation as possible and still turn over a plant a week. One obstacle I've faced is growing a bunch of different varieties with all their
varying finishing times. I decided not to get too anal by insisting on chopping down one plant every friday afternoon. Now I average a plant a week and still get to
try something new almost weekly.
