Is it common knowledge that police can take readings from the sewer systems, investigating for nutrients that are commonly flushed down the toilet in hydro grows?



Maybe this is old news but if you didnt know- I hope you heed warning and not flush your hydro water down the toilet. This is common of the urban grower especially not on the first floor.

So what happens when a guy like myself (hydro farmer, but not pot)? I would be suing the shit out of any law enforcement agency who kicked in my door.

how realistic does this sound.... especially if living in an apartment complex....how can they track and single down to one household when houses and apartments share sewage lines???

used to work for the water board doing leak detection and sewer tracking - they don't even know where half the old pipework is, let alone where a certain nutrient comes from. if you also consider the amount of small businesses that use the system to dump various chemical cocktails, household chemicals, garden nutes that are washed into the system down storm drains and all the other shit, they haven't a hope in hell.

if you had a big grow and i mean a big grow i could understand being careful about that but those who are like me and grow and smoke their own ,that would be the last thing to worry about ,matter a fact im sure if the police even knew you grew ,but grew a few plants max and to consume yourself ,dont think theyd give a fuk,its when you start to push it,but i respect the people who do.

The police in my area are so bored they would bust ya for a single joint, I'm tired of living like a criminal, always looking over my shoulder, other than grow a bit of pot for personal use I am a law abiding person , can't believe they don't legalize so the cops can go do some real work and put our taxes to good use! I have no respect for authority figures like MPs and cops, they are the real crooks in our society imho.

The newspaper article is no longer availible. The bust found two apartments filled with grow rooms. Definetly a grow for profit.
