the soil is too hot
Hey guys,
i'm only about 10 days from sprout on an LR2.
Soil is MG Organic (I know, I know), 1 plant under 2 45W (=150W CFLs) on a 20/4 schedule closet grow.
They sprouted their first 'true' (bladed) leaves about 4 days ago are now growing their second second of 'true leaves.'
Yesterday, the first set had a 'hard on' for the light and were pointing up -- the color was still green but I could see it beginning to lose its color.
This morning, the first set of leaves (now lower - not counting cotelyns) are turning more yellow and curling up.
I had them a few inches from the 2 CFLs and have moved them further away.
I did a full water 2 days ago b/c the soil (finger check) was dry.
It is since then that the problems have started occuring (though as I alluded to, I could sense the green was beginning to diminish in the leaves yesterday morning).
I checked ph (capsule) last night and it was right around neutral so I thought she might be ok -- so this morning, when I saw the further yellowing and curling beginning, i'm now panicking.
any thoughts would greatly be appreciated.
i've attached 2 pics below from camera phone -- these don't truly do justice to show the yellowing.
