On the subject of varietals and intellectual property: in the United States you may only patent an asexual plant that cannot reproduce sexually. Also, you can't patent a plant that is found in nature. It must meet the statutory requirements of novelty and all of the shenanigans referred to by the general populous regarding Monsanto and genetic marking is irrelevant. For one, Monsanto did strong arm some midwesterners but had no legal right to do so. Monsanto also won some international cases that were absurd, but these new rules were clarified and unified in 2004 by the Uruguay Round Agreement if I recall correctly. Canada and the US share IP laws by NAFTA so I am confident that there would be nothing but frivolous lawsuits should the issue of IP law arise. I have a doctorate in a life science, degrees in international business, patent law, and engineering. I would be the authority on this issue in other words.
As for the varietals that I have available.. well, you are sorely mistaken. The very talented breeders/collectors are in their mid 60's now, and they have seeds that they haven't cracked for 3 decades... that is, until us in-vitro guys came around. I have a set that was made collaboratively with Amsterdam but most of mine are not. I work with collectors/breeders so I carry breed stock, very little washout (mostly washed out cannabis cup "winners"). I'm looking for Kong. I'll trade a dozen clone only cannabis cup winners for a real, original Kong pheno. It's the only Canadian that I'm truely seeking right now, but I don't have a large Canadian collection. I'm also looking for that old strain line from circa 1980 that smells like hot garbage. The original landrace was black with bright red hairs. If you were a breeder you would probably find my breed stock by word of mouth. Guess I'll wait for you to come to me

if you bought the kit from that vhs vidoe in the 80 turned into c.d. they will waist your money the instructions date back to the vidoe you'll get confused, i usto build houses and not any old houses i built energy efficient homes for the owners of cancer hospitals 15 restooms and i go threw the prints with the cad drawing ingenieers and wall panell ingeeniers and the city and the all kinds of shit i would redraw their prints no lie.. so i get the kit the c.d is of an old vhs the recording is low quality and the instructions on the vidoe are wrong because the chemicals are difrent and the p.h. changes in the agur you'll have to call him for a one on one.. ppm all the instruction are diffrent because of the new chemicals are premade but the instructions are also wrong a lil... make shure you are in a well still air area.. because for every dust partical in the air thier is a hundred spores on a dust partical and that could land in your shit also you'll need a steem presure cooker and you have to get it on line dont relie on the microwave also sturing the agar your putting your hands over the chemicals you should buy that mixer with the magnet.. i myself bout a green house to putinside my home i havent got around to it and a hepa filter.. i have to built the green house from harbor frieght and run it inside their i will be well disinfected and run the mix under true sterile invirment that cat doesnt have much repeat customers im shure if your smart you'll know you can get the stuff else were for cheaper than the fucken kit for realz he also sent me shit without caps if i had a gig like that idd be on it for realz change the c.d. vidoe and change the liturature.. not be like on the phone ow buy the way i forgot to tell you or write this key step.. lolz fucken joke good luck.. i might not know who to write but i know how the fuck to grow and clinics love my ass.. so its got to be tits good luck.

I've been tissue culturing for decades, I do not use a hepa filter within my culture "hood". I am clean, My "grow tent labs" are sterilized before any transfers, and are sealed up when not.
no air is moving. mold comes from contaminants. 9 times out of ten. I can see a hair, or lint, or plant material not properly sterilized causing this.
I use a normal canning pressure cooker, and never have issues. I am clean. my explants are clean. I rock at tissue.
It seems the only people that try it, and bitch the loudest, are the ones who failed at it. I thought at first maybe they were looking out for their bro's so they dont waste time or energy trying it...BUT NOOOOOOOO

There are great books on the subject, and why the rumors are spread. It used to be that scientists worked from their home, now its commercialized. Imagine if everyone actually believed how a genetically modified corn kernal seed changes humans at their very dna, when ingested....imagine??? the only way to know this info, is if you've done it.

I bought a 15 dollar sonic toothbrush cleaner that I use with "Tween" soap, and alcohol, bleach, to sterilize my explants. this virtually stopped all contamination. good luck

I can't believe I read this whole thread and didn't learn shit..Except some other plants can have thca that looks nasty, and I am not smart enough to even try this method, and tissue culture is kinda like growing shrooms.. I dunno maybe its because I have been drinking..... Fuck it...

P.S. I don't use hormones; I use amino acid boosters, and organic/synthetic base newts. Also, I've studied GMOs; not impressed. Most all of my family and friends call me before they call their doctor. I ALWAYS take on disease naturally before hittin up a doc. My boy is a physician, and I love the guy (great kid), but man, most of them have fucking ulterior motives! They are trying to get paid! In the states, physicians are only required to have 20 hours of nutritional based education! Fuck that. I juice raw veggies in the morning, take my dehydrated veggy, super-food, grass and algae shake; I FEEL invincible!

you know whats funny ill tell u ya im gona bitch if i spend 250 on a kit 250 on a presure cooker all the extras and yet they dont tell you to be in a still room of air flow, that if you look into a dark room and open the curtain and see dust particals in the air thier is a hundred to one partical in the air they dont tell you to go into a tent, and they dont have the chemical all correct on the instructions because the formula changes into quote'' better formula from powder into liquid, so no im not telling you to drop it im still looking to do it its my second go at it... and yes i have failed.. but from trouble shooting i know were i mad my mastakes, i went to harbor frieght and bout a tent you could say its a green house but my house is big enough to open it, i have dogs they track in dirt and dander hair i have carpet and i have a kick ass a.c. system i live in the desert, but i would be pist off if i spent close to 800 dollars and failed they need to be real with instructions i cant guess whats happening with the powders and the liquids and they aint even labled how the fuck do you put an old resapee into liquid and then guess what the fuck to do with unlabled shit.. lolz i think its a poor kit let me go and get it since you say so, supper starter kit www.planttc.com thats what it was just like pollen you cant see it but it shure can fuck up your crop with one lil nanerd.. so unless you know the enviormet, and can put together what one c.d. seas and what you actualy get then i tip my hat to you man because you can read minds and you are aware of your enviroment the tent was a good idea see they should say that but in me i failed thats why i got the fucken green house i had to trouble shoot the hole thing i bought another book and well thats were i found out what i was doing wrong.. today im gona buy the mixer with magnet so that i dont drop dead skin over the ogar. i dont know about you but i dont like given my money away to something that is half assed lolz im shure you feel the same way..
